A while ago, while I was in Santa Cruz with Harry, a quartet of Cornish surfers made the trek to Thurso. They included two friends of mine, Jonty Henshall and Mike 'Tup' Newman, and two other locals from the far west, Andy Prowse and Billy Wynter.
The trip was to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Tup's abortive pilgrimage to Thurso, one which was curtailed on the Scots-English border owing to motorcycle failure (don't ask). This time round, Tup especially was determined to score some serious Scottish waves, and the whole crew did just that. You can read all about it in the next issue of Pit Pilot, but meanwhile, here's proof that good things really do come to those who wait.

Not much point putting a link to the PP site in there... It's not been updated in over 2 years and was never finished in the first place!

Careful Doz, what's that they say on the PP site?
Something like 'Welcome to our website if you think it's sh*te we'll give you a fight arright'
A tagline that has to stay even it gets redesigned...
