This blog has been elusive of late. Last week's trip to London was followed by a slew of work and then the usual last-minute battle to send Christmas cards and buy presents. On top of that, the surf has pumped for the last four days, so I've been doing rather than blogging.
But it would be remiss of me not to wish everyone who checks out this blog a Merry Christmas. Thanks for reading and may 2009 be as full of surf such as I had at Sennen earlier today - my last wave, a peeling right-hander from the middle of the beach all the way in to the car park, which I caught right in the pocket, was a peach. Thank you, Swell Gods, for sending it my way. But I have just one thing to ask - can you also get my lad Harry fit and healthy again? He's been ill with the country's ubiquitous cold/flu/evil virus and is gutted to have missed so many sessions lately. Here's a nice shot of him at our favourite break, courtesy of Greg Martin.

Great photo, little brother, weren't you supposed to be with the in-laws?
When are we doing a session at those Somerset secret spots?
