What you said made a lot of sense. But, think about this, what if you added a little content? I mean, I dont want to tell you how to run your blog, but what if you added something to maybe get peoples attention?

Hi guys,
Thought that you might be interested to hear about our brand new SURF SPECIFIC carpooling website Surf Rideshare -

As the name suggests, the site allows people to connect and share spare space in vehicles that take part travel to, from and between surf spots all over the world.

Although in beta mode, the core carpooling functionality is going so we're keen on letting people know about the service and get them using it!!!

It goes without saying that the surf community is sympathetic to issues such as climate change and carpooling is one way to reduce negative human impact on the globe. By using Surf Rideshare people can save money and make new friends whilst doing something positive for the environment.

With fuel prices at an all time high, climate change on every ones agenda and the phenomena that is social networking, there has never been a better time than right now to promote what we have to offer!

Whether you're into surfing, wakeboarding, body boarding, paddle boarding and indeed anything else that requires travel to the water, you can use Surf Rideshare to help you to connect and buddy up with others who are travelling to the same destination or somewhere near.

By using Surf Rideshare, people can...

The website features the pages:

An area where we aim to list details about all up and coming water sports events. This could be competitions, trips, exhibitions, parties and so on.

When an event is added to the site, it is also added to the forms on the website, making it easy for people to setup carpools related to any event that has been added.

We welcome you to post any relevant events. You can do so by logging into the site and clicking the "Post an Event" button on this page:

This area aims to be informative and give details relating to water sport spots all over the world. It's going to take time to populate, but we will get there.

We welcome location suggestions or even mutually beneficial media partnerships where we can share data and traffic. Get in touch if you'd like to get involved with this.

We're looking for your support...
We really hope that you like the idea of Surf Rideshare and what it stands for and we're in the process of contacting bodies, organisations & media all over the world to see if we can get your support and endorsement with the hope that you will share the Surf Rideshare love and help spread the word.

If you run an organisation, event, accommodation, school, club, magazine... In fact anything related to enjoying water, we hope that you might give us a presence on "How to Get Here", "Travel", "Sustainability" pages of your websites & social media activities. Perhaps you might even forward this email to others who would like to hear about it too?

Press releases & graphics available at your request.

If you'd like to hear more about the website then please don't hesitate to get in touch. We'd love to have your feedback and comments and would happy to discuss or answer any questions that you might have.

Thanks for taking the time to read and we hope to hear from you at your convenience.
