'Tis the season to be buying your loved one their perfect gift. Assuming that anyone happening upon this blog is a surfer, or knows a surfer, I've been researching what might be their ideal Xmas pressie. I'll put a few of my own suggestions up soon - and print it out and give it to everyone I know, even though I know this will be a futile gesture - but first up are some ideas from the good folk at A1Surf Towers. To capture those better days when I don’t want to stay on the beach and take photos, there's nothing better than this little gem.
4 Jack McCoy Collection
These are some of the first surf movies I owned, but they're on VHS. They could, though, be updated...
5 Nineplus Double Dee
A beautiful retro fish that looks like it'll fly on the bigger stuff.
6 Tijuana Straits by Kem Nunn
I've read The Dogs of Winter and Tapping the Source, but is this one as good? I reckon so but there's only one way to find out.
7 Nineplus 3/2 Stylist Shortie
With dreams of warmer waters next year, this is the middle ground between my summer suit and boardies.
8 Chairman of the Board CD
Some cool surf tunes from some of the best 70s surf movies.
9 Stikup
I have a new board that would look great on the bathroom wall…if I'm allowed!
10 Bluewater Dewax It
So I can clean the old wax off my board easily without hours of scraping.
