I enjoyed a brief and mellow skate of Mad Dog Hill today. The headwind was too strong even to get anywhere near the mad dog, let alone complete the near-mile of perfect downhill. This was good news, for it made for a session guaranteed to be injury-free. I can also confirm, for all the sports physios out there, that skating a hill is no problem with a quad tear (never let it be said that I don't do my bit for medical science).
However, albeit that the mad dog didn't bite back today, five dislocations to my right shoulder from skating 20 years ago tell me that it's only a matter of time.
