Thoroughly enjoyed yesterday's talk at the Budleigh Salterton Literary Festival. Thanks to all who came along and it was great to see how the festival has evolved in the three years since my first appearance (in 2010). It's a serious, well-organised and impressive fixture on the lit fest circuit and by all accounts talks by Melvyn Bragg, Hilary Mantel and Edna O'Brien were highlights.
Great to meet a posse of fellow QPR fans at some evening drinks and all the more astonishing that The Rs rewarded our faith yesterday with a 1-0 win at Yeovil.
Cornwall now beckons. Are the rumours true? Is there swell, and is it offshore? Looking forward to finding out. Thanks again to all who came along yesterday.
